CLIMBING & BOULDERING

Looking for the ultimate thrill?

Whether you want to scale sheer rock faces or just learn the basics of climbing, there are plenty of opportunities in St. Anton am Arlberg. Diverse bouldering and climbing routes await you in the nearby, wild and romantic Schnann Gorge, a stunning natural landmark which, with much love and dedication, has been made accessible again to climbers in recent years. Moreover, there are seven climbing areas with about 60 routes near Darmstädter Hut and in the high Alpine terrain around Kuchenspitze Peak.

Inspiring vistas await on the ultimate climbing adventure along the three-kilometre long Arlberg Via Ferrata. Aided by metal rungs, ladders, and hanging bridges, you will access airy heights of up to nearly 2,500 metres, all while tethered to a continuous cable. This world-class experience is considered one of the most beautiful, yet also most challenging routes in the Alps.

Located next to the train station, arl.park boasts an 850 square metre indoor rock climbing wall with technical features - slabs, overhangs and cracks and a 125 square metre bouldering zone.
